Time hangs in suspension
While our hearts connect
And faith in that bond ensures
Even in a world of ruin
A beautiful moment will bloom
And space waits in abeyance
Until moments burn into monuments
Every struggle is just a hiccup
In the face of forever and always
Unconditional love across vast distance
And in a land of a million homes
I have found mine

Laid like a somniferous film across my bed
My fingers trace images they were led to uncover
The pain that lies within those impressions
Are annihilated by the engravings on mine
And all the secrets you reveal through translucent skin
Are safeguarded by my transparent love 
The veil of delirium falls gracefully
As you lay by my side, dreaming in peace
Naked, transposed, wound like a rose 
The object of all my desire
And you are mine

We emit an incandescent light
Upon which our prismatic soul splits
Refracted into a variegated illumination
And giving us an invincible glow
Like dancing on the surface of the sun
While the unseen struggles lay 
In the impermeable silhouette
Meaningless disfigured shadows
In the wake of an untouchable bond
